Walter Skoropys

WALTER SKOROPYS age 74, passed away January 31, 2022. Beloved husband of Mary O. (nee Zwarycz); adored son of Oleksij and Maria Skoropys (both deceased); loved son-in-law of Mychajlo and Stefania Zwarycz (both deceased); dearest brother of John (deceased); beloved brother-in-law to Ivan Zwarycz (deceased), Iryna Bohay (Ihor); Julia Loufman (Jon); Daria Ficaj (Bohdan), Lesia Natal (Jason) and Myroslawa Zarefoss (Mark); loving uncle to many nephews and nieces; survived by family members in Ukraine; dear friend of many. Walter graduated from Lincoln High School 1967. Served at the DMZ in Korea during the Vietnam War 1968 – 1969. He was a retired Cleveland Police officer for over 25 years. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
