Rita Prebul

PREBUL, Rita M (nee Kozak), age 97, fell asleep peacefully on July 2, 2022 and is awaiting the return. Beloved wife of the late Joseph N. Prebul of 62 years; dear mother of Lt. Cmdr John (USN-Retired) (Margie), Thomas (Anita), James (Linda Mayer), & Robert (Lori); loving grandmother of Marilyn, Andrew, Alex, Kathleen, Christine, John, William, Denise, Courtney & Lily; & great-grandmother to Bryant, Lizzy, Julia, Amber, Jacob, Cameron, Lucas, Jack, Owen, & Theodore. Beloved daughter of Frank Kozak & Clara Novatny (both deceased); cherished Aunt & friend to many.

Rita was an avid Cleveland Indians baseball fan & Jeopardy devotee. A Parma resident for 73 years, she was vibrantly active in her community. Her love of Uno & delicious pastry recipes will be carried on by her grandchildren.

Friends may call at THE KOLODIY-LAZUTA FUNERAL HOME, 5677 STATE RD., PARMA, SUNDAY 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Prayer Service at the funeral home Monday, July 11th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery
