Mary (Maria) Bodnar

Mary (Maria) Bodnar (nee: Wyrsta), 86, entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2021. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael, and her only grandson, Jason. She is survived by her daughters Donna and Christine (Stelian Sola); her granddaughters: Reanna, Michelle (Benjamen Levy), and Evita; her great-grandchildren: Dominic, Kaden, and Keira; and her many family and friends. Mary was a generous, nurturing, independent, adventurous and tenacious woman, who valued her faith and family above all else. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched.

A private, family-only service and burial will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 11:00am, in the mausoleum chapel at St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7700 Hoertz Rd., Parma, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, at https://www.alz.org/, in memory of Mary.
