Mark Ivan Host

Mark Ivan Host, age 47, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026. He was born on October 4, 1978, in Willoughby, Ohio.

Mark was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nicole Host. He is also survived by his loving mother, Tamara Host, and was preceded in death by his father, Tony Host. Mark will be deeply missed by his many friends, all of whom cherished his companionship and the joy he brought into their lives.

Mark had a wide range of interests and passions. He found great enjoyment in fishing and spending time at the shooting range. He also loved board games, reading, and had a particular fascination with medieval studies. Traveling was another passion that allowed him to explore the world and create lasting memories.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Parastas service at 7:00 p.m. at Kozij-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral 5913 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. (Please meet directly at the church). Interment will follow at St. Theodosius Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
