Luke Thomas Kuryluk

LUKE THOMAS KURYLUK age 23, passed away suddenly June 19, 2017. Beloved son, moon and stars of Annie Jakyma and Orest S. Kuryluk (deceased); dear grandson of Parania and Wolodymyr (deceased) Jakyma, Zoya and Elias Kosta and Tomas Kuryluk (deceased); devoted to Lydia Apostoluk; nephew of Jerry Jakyma (deceased), Luci Slywka (Michael-deceased) and Tim and Hania Jakyma; fun-loving cousin and friend of many. Luke was a championship swimmer at St. Edward High School and a well loved member of the local Ukrainian community. He joined the Ukrainian American Youth Association in early childhood and progressed through training programs to become a youth mentor. Luke performed with Kashtan, a world renowned dance ensemble and was a graduate of Ridna Shkola. He was working toward completing his bachelor degree in business administration.

Funeral Liturgy Monday, June 26 at the Cathedral at 10 a.m. Entombment St. Andrew Cemetery.
