KATERYNA KAPITANEC (nee Gel) age 91, passed away peacefully Monday, May 3, 2021. Beloved wife of Mykola (deceased); loving mother of Wasyl (deceased), Bohdan, Ihor J. (deceased), Scott, and Lydia Liszniansky; cherished grandmother of Larissa Jonovich (Tim), Nick Kapitanec, Adrianna Moriarty (Kevin), Adam Liszniansky, Hanna Yevtushenko (Daniel) and Michael Kapitanec; great-grandmother of Avery, Kay and TJ Jonovich; dearest sister of Ivan Gel (deceased).

Funeral Liturgy Thursday, May 6 at St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7700 Hoertz Rd., Parma at 11 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Visitation in church from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment St. Andrew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Kateryna’s name to St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church.
