JOHN OLENCHUK age 91, passed away March 21, 2022. Beloved husband of 65 years to Alice (nee Brykailo); dear father of infant son Gregory (deceased), Tamara Hipp (David), Cathleen Poston (Michael), Joanne Higginbotham (John), Lisa Robinson (Andy) and Taras (Susan); loving grandfather of Adam, Katie, Rachel, Michelle, Bethany, Sarah, Luke, Carolyn, Rebecca, Grace, Blake and John, and great-grandfather of Tom, Will, Brody and Molly; dearest brother of Anna Yancich; preceded in death by his parents Gregory and Maria (nee Stojkiw), brother Michael (Jackie), son-in-law Ken Sterba, grandson Alex Sterba and brother-in-law Steve Yancich. John was a U.S. Army Veteran and 4th Degree K of C. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy (Humanitarian Help for Ukraine).
