John Iwaskiewych, age 94, was born on August 14, 1932, and passed away on October 21, 2026.
He was the beloved husband of Valentina Iwaskiewych; loving father of Luba Bar, Peter Iwaskiewych (Helen), and Daniel Iwaskiewych and (Lovella); dear grandfather of Luba, Romeo, Juliette, and Nicholas; and cherished great-grandfather of Romeo Liam. John was the caring brother of Myron Iwaskiewych. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with Parastas at 7:00 p.m. at Kozij-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church 7700 Hoertz Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Interment will follow at St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
