In his final days, Iwan was surrounded by his devoted wife and loved ones and passed away peacefully at home.
Beloved husband of Olha (Nee Dowhal); Loving father of Linda Konowal (Walter), John Michailuk (Sue), and Mari Rundo (Tony, deceased) who he lovingly raised as his own;
Dearest grandfather of Danylo, Michaylo (Sofia), Alek, Kathleen (Cody), Makayla, Brandi (James), Vinny (Lisa), Gina (Scott), Jacob, Nicky, Gracie, Lena and Joey.
Preceded in death by his parents Mykola and Maria, and his siblings Wasyl, Maria and George.
He was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Iwan received many awards and recognition as a Mercedes Benz specialist and he also spent many years in service to St Vladimir’s Church.
Family and Friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 4 PM - 8 PM (Parastas 6 PM) at Kozij-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Funeral Service on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 10 AM at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral 5913 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134 (Please Meet at Church). Interment Brooklyn Hts. Cemetery.
