Irena Rybij (nee Sobczak), age 82, passed away on May 1, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Mychajlo Rybij; cherished mother of Andrij Rybij (deceased), Taras Rybij and Maria Williams (Jonathan); beloved grandmother of Victor Williams. Loving daughter of the late Maria and Wasyl Sobczak; dear sister of Zenon Sobczak (Gabriela) and Olha "Ollie" Undicelli (Armand, deceased); loving aunt to Jamie, Gina & Andrij and great aunt to Donovan, Jackson and Everett.
Friends may call at the Kozij-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, Oh 44134 on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 3-7pm with Parastas at 6pm. Funeral Liturgy will be at St. Andrews Ukrainian Catholic Church 7700 Hoertz Rd. Parma, OH 44134 on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 11am (Please meet at the Church). Interment at St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
