George "Georgski" Horacio Semaniuk

George “Georgski” Semaniuk, age 72, was born on January 16, 1954, and passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

George was the cherished son of the late Miguel Semaniuk Sr. and the late Katerina Semaniuk (née Kopinska). He was the beloved brother of Ana Bottaro (Gaetano)(deceased) and Miguel Semaniuk Jr. (deceased); loving uncle of Richard Bottaro and Graciela Zingalie; and dear great-uncle of Michael Anthony Bottaro (deceased), Angela Bottaro, Nicholas Bottaro—his beloved godson, Isabelle Bottaro, and Evangeline Zingalie.

Affectionately known as “Georgski,” George will be remembered for his outgoing personality and his wonderful ability to bring joy and laughter wherever he went. Always the life of the party, even with Llamas in Argentina, he was very social and treasured every opportunity to spend time with his family and many friends.

George enjoyed gardening and had a lifelong love of soccer and other sports. A dedicated employee of Ford Motor Company, he was also deeply devoted to the United Auto Workers and took great pride in his work and union membership.

Above all, George loved his family and friends. His lively spirit, warm heart, and joyful presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral 5720 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134 (Please meet at Church). Interment St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
