Evelyn Terkun

Evelyn Marie Terkun (née Basta), devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away November 25, 2025. She is survived by her husband, Charles Terkun, stepson John, brothers Nicholas (wife Ana) and Timothy, nieces and nephews and numerous friends and relatives. Born in Vienna, Austria, her early years were spent in Beaver County, PA, and later in Cleveland and Strongsville, OH. She was a pioneering woman steelworker in Aliquippa, PA and Cleveland, and later studied nursing and cared personally for the last years of both her mother and mother-in-law. She loved her family and her cats, and attending air shows, football and baseball games with John and Charles.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 5 PM - 8 PM (Parastas 7 PM) at Kozij-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment Brooklyn Hts. Cemetery.
