Andrew Klek

Andrew Klek (65) of Rocky River, son of the late John and Maria (née Burghardt), passed away on June 28, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Cindy, and their children, Maria of Miami, Florida, and Nikolas of Columbus; his brothers, John (Luba) Klek and Julian (Christine) Klek; his godsons, Markian Zyga, Alexander Klek, and Andriy Klek; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Andy was involved with soccer all of his life, playing for the Ukrainian Sports Club Lviv and Concordia Soccer. He volunteered for eight years as a coach for Fairview Youth Travel Soccer and spent countless hours coaching his son and daughters’ youth teams in Rocky River. He also enjoyed riding his bike long distances and playing the violin.

He spent his career as a real estate accountant and was particularly grateful to his work friends at Eden Inc., where he spent the last 11 years in an open, respectful, and supportive environment.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial visitation on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 4P M to 7 PM (Parastas 6 PM) at Kozij-Lazuta Funeral Home 5677 State Rd. Parma OH 44134. Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 11 AM at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral 5720 State Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Inurnment will be private.
